Located in Coney Island, Brooklyn, the New York Aquarium is a seaside park that homes ocean wildlife from all over the world.
Among its exhibits, visitors could see and learn about a wide variety of marine animals, from seahorses to tiger sharks and giant octopuses. People could enjoy the Glover’s Reef Hall, where fish swim among colorful corals; interact with beach elements at Explore the Shore Hall; or get to know Sea Cliffs, a rocky marine habitat for walruses, penguins, seals and other amazing species.
The New York Aquarium is recognized not only by its permanent exhibits’ level, but also for the exotic activities organized. Visitors could participate on penguin feeding, see a sea lion show at the Aquatheatre, enjoy a 4D experience to feel the sounds, sights, and scents of the ocean, as well as chat with experts on different species about the animal’s habits and characteristics. Educational activities for children are also held at the aquarium.
